Homebound Student Facility De Binnenhaven Opened

This new facility for young people who are at home or at risk of dropping out is located at the Grift in Rotterdam-South, next to Portus Meridiem. Thanks to the extra guidance and personal coaching, young people can return to school more quickly and become less dependent on the long waiting lists for help. They regain perspective.

A bridge between education and care
In the renovated and bright building, two classrooms have been set up where students can work on their educational program. In addition, there is a space where they receive coaching from two specialized counselors. In this way, a bridge is created between education and care. This bridge is symbolized in the logo of De Binnenhaven, which was unveiled during the opening by CVO board chairman Marc Mittelmeijer
