A safe haven
Portus means harbor, and that is exactly what we want to be for you as a student. At a Portus school, you feel at home, we look out for each other, and everyone belongs. All Portus schools are different, but together they stand for:
A safe haven
All our schools offer students a safe place to learn and develop. We have a Christian identity and everyone is welcome, regardless of faith or background. We see diversity as a strength. From the safe haven of your school, you set sail into the world with confidence.
Raise the bar, lower the threshold
Whether you learn easily or could use some extra help, at a Portus school you will get every opportunity and plenty of challenge at your own level. In an ambitious and motivating learning environment, we help you get the most out of yourself. We do everything we can to keep you on board, so that you will leave school with a valuable diploma.
We all take responsibility
We love go-getters and give everyone the opportunity to take the helm. We teach you to be responsible for your own process. We work in a socially responsible way and pay attention to sustainability. We believe collaboration is important and expect everyone to take an active role in it. If that doesn’t work right away, we help each other.
We believe in the positive
We are open to one another and proud of what we achieve. Together, we confidently work towards the moment when you leave the harbor to explore the wide world. We wish each other the best and celebrate our successes together. And we do so with a generous smile.
